Ash believes that in the college the most important person is you. This belief is the very basic tent of Salford College. With strong links in the industry he has helped a lot of students get placements, some of them leading to jobs or setting up own businesses. He believes strongly in International education and the fact that learning is not just about books. Education is a broad field and international education and exposure builds people and give them amazing life experiences which always gives you an added edge in this competitive world.
With formal qualification in Masters in Political Science and years of senior leadership roles in Army and in business, he brings a calm sense of leadership, a focus on tomorrow, and a clear vision.
Training and Quality Manager /Management Trainer
As the Training and Quality Manager, Peter ensures that all training, assessment and compliance matters are of the highest standards. Peter has worked in business and as a trainer for almost 2 decades and brings to his roles all of his experiences, thus guiding the students through a very rich and rewarding journey at Salford College.
Peter is one of the most enthusiastic trainers you will ever meet. With an amazing set of skills, a deep empathy with all of his students, he is always available for you and has the right advice and word for you. Peter has a vast amount of experience in the design, development and delivery of training and assessment methods combined with a range of qualifications such as a Diploma of Management, Certificate IV in Business and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Melissa is the Training Coordinator and organises our class timetables. Mel can generally be identified from a mile away with her big laugh. No job is too big or too small for her. Her attention to details and meticulousness ensures that all student records are maintained at their best. You will find her with a camera in hand, solving your problems and ensuring that the facilities are always top notch.
Luke is our friendly Accounts Officer. You will meet Luke if you need to organise a payment plan for your fees.
Manmeet Singh Chhabra
Manmeet is an easy going and highly approachable person. He brings with himself an experience of almost 14 years in industries as diverse as Contact Centers, Consulting and Education. He handles the international student inquiries from onshore and offshore with equal élan. He can always be found in smart business attires, enjoying interacting with staff, students and agents alike.
Kristina is the first person you see when you walk into Salford College. At the reception desk, Kristina answers the telephone and greets students at reception. She can surprise you by speaking in muyltiple languages. And she has the answer almost all of your questions.
Business/ Management/ Marketing Trainer
An always smiling and intense Michael is a wonderful trainer, mentor and coach to all his students at Salford College.
Accomplished Senior Manager with experience in marketing, sales, purchasing, customer service, forecasting and budgeting across diverse industries including IT, consumer electronics, retail, manufacturing, wholesale, construction, education, finance, electronics and telecommunications.
Michaels abilities include leadership, establishing and nurturing high performance teams, managing multiple tasks across challenging environments, and making an immediate impact. ding at Board level).
Adrian has a joke for every occasion and has a great rapport with his students. He has a great skill to get his training across in a fun environment. He is a great Chef trainer and has decades of experience in the industry. Having worked as a chef, restaurant owner, trainer he has done everything you could do to having won your laurels. Immensely respected and loved by his students he is a fantastic trainer and he works very hard for all his students to find them work placements in the industry suitable for the students and hopefully leading to a positive outcome.
Business & Hospitality Trainer
Roy is affectionately called an “old hand” at Salford College as he has been working in the hospitality industry since he was 17 years old. In 2002, Sourav completed a B.A. in Hospitality Management and also has a Diploma of Hospitality and Catering management.
He has worked on all rungs of the Hospitality industry commencing an Operational Trainee and a Waiter in a luxurious Mariott Hotel, New Delhi. From there, he worked at other 5 Star Hotels and restaurants namely Hyatt Regency, Taj Hotel to name a few. There were very high standards to maintain because of the reputation and very long working hours but the rigor was excellent. At Taj Hotel he worked as a Team Leader in their pilot team of Butler Service. As Butler service was all about catering to VIPs only, he got a chance to serve people like Mr Tony Blair( Ex-PM United Kingdom), Mr Pervez Musharraf (Ex-President of Pakistan), Mr José Manuel Barroso ( President European Commission), Ms Indira Nooyi (CEO PepsiCo ), Mr Kofi Annan (Former Secretary General of United Nations and Noble Peace Prize Winner) and many more.
In addition he has worked on cruise ships, restaurants and brings with him the exacting nature of training and service required to excel in the demanding industry. A strong critique of all aspects of the hospitality industry, Roy works with his students to ensure that all students understand the ins and outs of industry and be in a position to attain their goals. Having worked in some of the leading Hospitality Venues in South Australia Roy brings that knowledge to his students.
Food and Beverage Trainer
Kim comes with very strong hospitality skills and experience. She currently works as a Hospitality Manager as well as a Hospitality Trainer. Kim has helped many students gain employment in hospitality. Her students are known for making the best cappuccinos and providing quality service with a smile. With formal qualifications in hospitality and having successfully trained as well as helped find scores of students job placements, Kim is a hot favorite of her students.

Ryan Leaver has considerable experience working in a number of business development, education and management roles across a range of government, NGO and corporate organisations. Keen and energetic, Ryan prides himself on his ability to foster productive working relationships, his positive attitude and an aptitude to deliver dynamic training and education programs.
Drawing on his vast industry experience coupled with tertiary studies in Education, MBA, Social Sciences, Information Management and TESOL, Ryan has played a key role in the development of Salford College’s new English program and continues to train in both the Business and Management programs.
