Description
This qualification is suitable for those who use well developed marketing and communication skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of contexts.

Individuals in these roles apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others, however they typically report to more senior practitioners.

Course Duration
2.5 days per week (20 hours per week)

Study Mode and Assessment Methods
This course is delivered in a classroom environment and includes theory, group discussions, case studies, presentations, role plays, research, projects, workplace simulated activities, computer activities and written assessments.

Recognition of Prior Learning / Credit Transfer
Do you already have existing skills and knowledge and don’t need additional training?  Have you done previous training?   Please contact our office if you would like to undertake Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or apply for credit transfer.

Entry Requirements
All international students must provide evidence of English proficiency equivalent to IELTS overall score of 5.5, be over 18 years of age and have completed Australian Year 12 or equivalent.

Pathways into the qualification
Not applicable – There are no entry requirements.

After completing Certificate iv in Marketing and Commutation students can progress to  BSB52415 – Diploma of Marketing and Communication.

There are 12 units in this qualification. 5 core units plus 7 elective units

BSBMKG420 – Create digital media user experiences – ELECTIVE
BSBMKG409 – Design Direct response offers – ELECTIVE
BSBMGT407 – Apply digital solutions to work processes – ELECTIVE
BSBADV408 – Review Advertising media options – ELECTIVE
