Description
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Individuals at this level display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements. They plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.

Course Duration
54 weeks (20 hours per week)

Study Mode and Assessment Methods
This course is delivered in a classroom environment and includes theory, group discussions, case studies, presentations, role plays, research, projects, workplace simulated activities, computer activities and written assessments.

Recognition of Prior Learning / Credit Transfer
Do you already have existing skills and knowledge and don’t need additional training?  Have you done previous training?   Please contact our office if you would like to undertake Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or apply for credit transfer.

Entry Requirements
All international students must provide evidence of English proficiency equivalent to IELTS overall score of 5.5, be over 18 years of age and have completed Australian Year 12 or equivalent.

Pathways into the qualification
Students may choose to enter after completing the BSB42015 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management. Students awarded with a Diploma of Leadership and Management may choose to undertake the BSB61015 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management.

Pathways from the qualification
Students may choose to undertake the BSB61015 Advance Diploma of Leadership & Management.

BSBINN502 – Build and sustain an innovative work environment – Elective
