DIPLOMA OF LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT

Description
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who are engaged to manage the work of others or to add value to or review management practices. Their role may be in any industry or organisational setting. Typically people in these roles will have considerable experience in their respective industries or vocational areas and combine an informed perspective of specific work requirements with their managerial approaches. The qualification requires a sound theoretical knowledge base and managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate own work or the work of a team.

Study Modes
This course is delivered in a classroom environment and includes theory, group discussions, case studies, presentations and research.

Recognition of Prior Learning / Credit Transfer
Do you already have existing skills and knowledge and don’t need additional training?  Have you done previous training?   Please contact our office if you would like to undertake Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or apply for credit transfer.

Entry Requirements
All international students must provide evidence of English proficiency equivalent to IELTS overall score of 5.5, be over 18 years of age and have completed Australian Year 12 or equivalent.

Course Pathways
The preferred pathway for students considering this qualification is BSB40812 Certificate IV in Frontline Management, other relevant qualifications or with vocational experience.

Pathways from the qualification
On completion of the Diploma of Management, students may study BSB60407 Advanced Diploma of Management or other Advanced Diploma qualifications.
