What You Will Learn in the Course

The Building Work Contractor’s Licence (SA) course is tailored for professionals in the construction industry who aim to obtain or upgrade their contractor licence. It covers the essential areas of business planning, legal requirements, and contract administration to ensure you can manage and complete projects successfully.

The course units are nationally accredited and meet the CBS’s eligibility criteria, providing you with a strong foundation in both the technical and business aspects of contracting.

The course is designed to be flexible, taking up to 5 months for completion. However, this time may vary depending on your background.

Entry Requirements

Before you begin, Salford College requires all prospective students to complete a Screening Test. This test ensures the course and selected units are suitable for your current skill level, career goals, and experience. The screening process evaluates your:
