Industry Hub Advisory Committee

At Salford College of Hospitality and Management our focus is on creating a special learning experience for each individual… one which is customised to meet your unique needs.
In order to meet the needs of our changing world, Salford College has established industry specific Innovation and Industry Advisory Boards in areas of hospitality and management to ensure that our programs and services stay at the forefront of human development services. This is also to ensure that the stakeholders from industry are always consulted so that the courses remain true to the vocational experience of students.
The board of Salford College established the Industry Advisory Committee to ensure that all customers of Salford College are provided with the best possible training experience.

Paul Bartley -

  • Mediator with the Office of Small business Commissioner,
  • Justice of the Peace,
  • Fellow of Institute of Public Accountants,

Christopher Overton -

  • Accountant,
  • Director of Public Schools Club,
  • Director of Bartley Parteners Accounting,
  • Treasure of Rotary Adelaide West,
  • Directors, and Salford College Executive also attend these meetings.

Scott Turner

  • Trainer in hospitality, retail and business

The role of the Industry Advisory Committee includes:

  •  Reviewing training and assessment tools, systems and strategies based on the National Training Packages to meet the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) standards.
  • Review all trainers and assessors to recommend professional development opportunities in the areas of management, hospitality and quality training outcomes for students.
  • Review feedback from client satisfaction surveys, moderation sessions and customer complaints and grievances and make recommendations to the Board to ensure a continual improvement cycle.
