With a clear passion for education, links to industry and a strong advocate of the vocational industry, Ash is the founder of Salford College and has ensured that the college always maintains the highest standards. The commitment to quality, student training and welfare, strong and motivated staff is key to success.
Ash believes that in the college the most important person is you. This belief is the very basic tenet of Salford College. With strong links in the industry he has helped a lot of students get placements, some of them leading to jobs or setting up own businesses. He believes strongly in International education and the fact that learning is not just about books. Education is a broad field. International education and exposure builds people and give them amazing life experiences. This gives you an added edge in this competitive world.
With formal qualification in Masters in Political Science and years of senior leadership roles in Army and in business, he brings a calm sense of leadership, a focus on tomorrow, and a clear vision.
Melissa is the Training Coordinator and organises our class timetables. Mel can generally be identified from a mile away with her big laugh. No job is too big or too small for her. Her attention to details and meticulousness ensures that all student records are maintained at their best. You will find her with a camera in hand, solving your problems and ensuring that the facilities are always top notch.
Manmeet is an easy going and highly approachable person. He brings with himself an international work experience of more than 16 years in industries as diverse as Contact Centres, Consulting and Education in the roles of Operations and Business Development. He handles the marketing, business development and admissions for both onshore and offshore clients with equal élan. He can always be found in smart business attires, enjoying interacting with staff, students and business associates.
He has a Masters in Business Studies and a Bachelors in Commerce.
Sales & Marketing
Paula has a strong sales and marketing background as well as a great experience in the education and hospitality industry. Having worked for many years for big companies abroad and being an entrepreneur herself, she came to add even more knowledge to the marketing team and help develop and expand the business. She loves working with people and is always smiling and bringing good energies.
She has a Post Graduate qualification in Strategic Leadership and Management and a Bachelor in Public Relations.
Ivy has a background as an Education Agent working closely to the Chinese market. She started to work with Salford in 2018 and we’re very happy to have her taking care of our Chinese Students by giving the all support required when needed.
Ted has been working in the education industry for over 12 years and we are pleased to have him working for Salford for 5 years now. He is a very outgoing person who has a great relationship with all students and staff in the college and is always ready to help.
Kristina is the first person you see when you walk into Salford College. At the reception desk, Kristina answers the telephone and greets students. She can surprise you by speaking in multiple languages. And she has the answer to almost all of your questions.
Shea has started at Salford as our Intern in Accounts and has done a wonderful job becoming an asset for the college. After her intership came to an end we were happy to offer her a permanent position to stay with Salford College and continue her great work.
Shea has a Bachelor of Accounting in China and a Master of Accounting and Finance in Australia.

Commercial Cookery Trainer
Adrian has a joke for every occasion and has a great rapport with his students. He has a great skill to get his training across in a fun environment. He is a great Chef trainer and has decades of experience in the industry. Having worked as a chef, restaurant owner, trainer he has done everything you could do to having won your laurels. Immensely respected and loved by his students he is a fantastic trainer and it’s an honour to have him on board.
Commercial Cookery Trainer
Scott has over 17 years experience in the restaurant and hotel industry. With time spent in 5 start resorts, casinos and hotels Scott has gained skills in staff management, delegation and coaching.
His latest experience before starting as a trainer was at one of the most renowned fine dining restaurants of South Australia, the iconic Cube at D´Arenberg Winery in McLaren Vale which he helped launching.
Now with Certificate IV and training and assessment Scott has embarked on a new chapter in his career to continue the training of the next leaders of our service and hospitality industry. We are very honored to have him as our trainer and have him pass on this experience to all of our students and train them with so much care and professionalism.
Sarah has over 25 years experience in the hospitality industry. She has spent the last 10 years in charge of pastry at the Playford Hotel and before that has been spent predominantly in 5 star hotels and award winning restaurant/function center.
She has a passion for patisserie and likes to keep herself always up to date. Currently, besides being our trainer, she still works at a patisserie in Adelaide.
Sarah has chosen to pass on her knowledge and skills to the “next generation” of amazing chefs and we are very happy to her on our team.
Daniel comes with around twenty years of hospitality experience in a range of different organisations both in Australia and overseas.He also has a Bachelor in Business, Diplomas in Training design and development and Vocational Education as well as a Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment. All this has set him up well to pass on his skills to our international Diploma of Hospitality students.
Hospitality and Leadership and
Saurabh comes with extensive experience and successful track record within both the
Hospitality and Training sectors. Performing a role of Trainer and Assessor, he demonstrates outstanding communication skills and the ability to form a strong rapport with students and colleagues. He is a highly motivated trainer with a proven past performance of getting the job done efficiently and to the highest of standards.
He has been a business person in the past, and is also a Hospitality Manager at a Hotel in Adelaide where he leads a successful team. Highest qualification achieved is Masters in International Hotel Management, with various diplomas; demonstrating dedication to his profession.
Currently he delivers hospitality, and business/management related qualifications.
Business /Management/English (TESOL) Trainer
Academic Manager-English/Business Relationships Manager
Ryan Leaver has considerable experience working in management, education and business development roles across a number of private and public organisations. Keen and energetic, Ryan prides himself on his ability to foster productive working relationships and has an aptitude to deliver dynamic education programs. Drawing on his vast industry experience coupled with tertiary studies in Education, MBA, Social Sciences, Information Management and TESOL, Ryan has played a key role in the development of Salford College’s English program and continues to train in Business and Management (Diploma / Advanced Diploma levels).
Kellie is a highly motivated English teacher with longstanding interest in language development and literacy. She’s passionate about other cultures and languages and has continuously studied it throughout University when majoring in linguistics and film. She has then further on her qualification by undertaking a post graduate specialization in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), in order to continue developing her passion and passing on her knowledge to others.
Kellie finds that supporting students to realize their potential is one of most rewarding parts of teaching. She believes that by doing that, she is provided with the opportunity to better understand the needs for diverse learners and establish authentic learning experiences that are relatable, creative and up to date.
Karen began as a VET trainer for Salford College in 2017, and she teaches students in Diploma of Business and Advanced Diploma of Business. She brings 30 years business experience with her. She has owned a variety of businesses – general store, outback transport company, retail outlets, and a wholesaling and importing company.
Her qualifications include Graduate certificate in Business, Diploma of Retail and Diploma of Counselling.
Leadership and Management Trainer
Vicky started as a VET trainer for Salford College in 2018, and she teaches students in Diploma of Leadership and Management. She brings 20 years business experience with her and is a great asset to the college and brings loads of knowledge to the students.
Diploma of Business and Leadership and Management Trainer
James has a long history in hospitality industry where he has been able to combine his interests in management with a good customer service ethos. Enjoying the challenge of fixing systems and processes, James has been continually engaged in helping hotels and their hospitality staff overcome business issues, develop solutions, and go on to reach their full potential.
James feels comfortable dealing with people from all walks of life and is a highly approachable coach and mentor who loves nothing more than sharing ideas and knowledge, and seeing people get that step closer to their dreams. We are very proud to have him as a Trainer at our Sydney Campus.
